Responsibilities
- Monitor and assess neurovascular telemetry patients, including frequent neurological checks and vital signs; document findings in the electronic medical record.
- Administer prescribed medications and manage IV therapy and other routine treatments as ordered; respond promptly to changes in patient status.
- Interpret telemetry data, recognize arrhythmias or neurological changes, and escalate to the supervising physician or neurology team as needed.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans; educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and safety.
- Maintain patient safety and comfort while adhering to infection control practices and hospital policies; ensure documentation reflects care provided.
- Uphold professional practice standards in line with the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act and the American Nurses Association Code of Ethics; advocate for patient voices and rights.

Requirements
- Active Georgia RN license in good standing
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Experience in telemetry or acute neurovascular units preferred; strong clinical judgment and critical thinking
- Ability to work 3x12-hour shifts in a hospital/acute care setting
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate within an interdisciplinary team
