Responsibilities

Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective clients by identifying needs and offering tailored protection plans.

Host in-person meetings with local business owners and families to assess their unique risks.

Review existing policyholder accounts to ensure coverage remains relevant as their personal or business lives evolve.

Collaborate with the underwriting team to secure the best possible outcomes for our clients.

Participate in local community events to increase our agency's visibility in the New London area.

Keep meticulous records of client interactions to ensure a high level of accuracy and follow-through.


Requirements

Active Property and Casualty Insurance License for Connecticut.

Three or more years of experience in consultative sales, preferably within the insurance sector.

Strong comfort level with presenting solutions and building rapport with new people daily.

Clear and professional written and verbal communication style.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and agency management software.

Experience with local market networking and community involvement.
