Join our team at Learning Opportunities Quality Works! We are currently seeking applicants for a Direct Support Professional (DSP) position. This is a part-time position with approximately 25–30 hours per week.

Work Schedule

  • Monday through Friday: 3:00 PM – 8:00 PM.
  • During the summer months, and occasionally throughout the year, hours may change to 8:30 AM – 1:30 PM.

Essential Functions:

As a DSP, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with IDD as they work toward greater independence and meaningful engagement in their communities. Key responsibilities include:

  • Provide job coaching and support to individuals working within a custodial department.
  • Assist individuals in developing and maintaining skills necessary for successful employment.

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED required with work experience, prefer 4 year degree from accredited college.
  • Must have a current valid driver's license and be willing to obtain a Class E (Chauffeur's) license immediately upon hire.
  • Requires a dependable personal vehicle with valid insurance coverage.
  • Ability to pass all appropriate and required background screenings.
  • Ability to work flexible hours to accommodate the needs of our customers.
  • Ability to use technology to complete required documentation.
  • Must be a caring and patient individual with a passion for helping others.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as a team.
