Small Business Warehouse/Building Assistant
Immediate opening available for an experienced warehouse/building maintenance professional for a 33 year old small retail home decor business (flooring, window treatments and Kitchen and Bath) known for our superior customer service and professional staff. What You'll Do
Responsibilities for this position include, but not limited to:
Small Warehouse
Receiving (rolls of carpet, pallets of flooring, window treatments, misc. items)
Shipping
Warehouse duties
Material inventory
Installer/Customer Loading
Deliveries
Material p/u
Vehicle & Forklift operation and maintenance
Grounds & building maintenance inside and outside (grass, weed control, parking lot and other areas) We provide all the tools.
Some purchasing and shopping of ofc supplies
Requirements
Qualifications for this position:
- High attention to detail
- Good communication skills both verbally and written
- Able to take direction and willing to learn our computer system
- Able to operate a forklift
- Able to move boxes of tile, wood, laminate and luxury vinyl
- Able to move boxes of window treatments
- Good people skills
- Independent proactive thinker
- Team player
- Flexible/Open work schedule
- Basic handyman skills
