Job Overview:
We are seeking a passionate Special Education Teachers in Manhattan, NY to join our Early Intervention team. As a Special Education Teacher, you will be responsible for providing specialized instruction to students with diverse learning needs, including those with autism and related disorders. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children with special needs in Manhattan, NY.
Required:
*Bachelor’s degree special education (MSED)
*Teacher’s certification for students with Disabilities Birth- Grade 2
Responsibilities:
*Utilize early intervention strategies and learning technologies to promote literacy and social skills.
*Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods as necessary.
Qualifications:
- State certification in Special Education
- Experience working with children with special needs, specifically those with developmental disabilities and autism
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
