PEOPLE LEADERSHIP
- Supports the Center Director in identifying, scheduling, and interviewing teacher candidates.
- Helps build networks of future talent and maintains positive relationships with potential hires.
- Conducts classroom observations and provides feedback that motivates and encourages teacher growth.
- Assists in ensuring curriculum is executed in alignment with brand standards.
- Uses a growth mindset to help train, coach, and develop staff for future roles.
- Listens objectively to employee concerns and collaborates with the Center Director on recommended actions.
- Helps build and communicate weekly schedules.
- Supports daily management of classroom ratios and staffing needs.
- Assists with new hire paperwork and maintains employee files in compliance with state licensing regulations.
- Helps manage center schedules to ensure ratios are intact and labor is effectively aligned with budget expectations.
- Supports the Center Director in leading tours for prospective families, highlighting curriculum, teacher quality, and center differentiators.
- Regularly communicates with families regarding student progress and center updates.
- Helps plan and execute “parent pleasers” and center events that strengthen family retention.
- Assists with auditing and maintaining all student and teacher records and files.
- Ensures the physical environment and health/safety standards remain in full compliance with local and state licensing regulations.
- Supports relationships with state licensors and assists during center evaluations.
- Helps manage accident/incident reporting and documentation.
- Assists with medication management and ensures proper procedures are followed.
- Conducts or supports monthly emergency safety drills.
- Helps manage new customer administration and files in compliance with state licensing regulations.
- One or more years of center leadership/management experience highly preferred.
- Must have professional teaching experience with infant to preschool children.
- Bachelor’s degree in ECE or related field highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of state licensing rules and regulations.
- CPR and First Aide Certification highly preferred.
- Must meet state specific guidelines for the role.
