Job Overview
The Finance Controller will be responsible for managing the complete finance and accounting function at ADDiTEC. This is a hands-on position requiring an individual who can manage day-to-day accounting while also supporting financial planning, manufacturing operations, government programs, and company growth. The Finance Controller will oversee accounting, AP/AR, payroll, cash management, financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, manufacturing cost accounting, tax coordination, government contract accounting, audits, and internal controls. The ideal candidate is comfortable operating independently in a fast-growing company and can both execute the day-to-day work and build scalable financial processes for the future.
Key Responsibilities
o Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
o Coordinate with external accountants, tax advisors, auditors, banks, and other financial partners.
· Monitor company liquidity, receivables, payables, and upcoming financial obligations.
· Lead annual budgeting and periodic forecasting.
· Prepare budget-versus-actual and variance analysis.
· Develop financial models supporting company growth, hiring, manufacturing, R&D, and capital requirements.
· Provide management with clear financial KPIs and recommendations.
· Monitor material, labor, and overhead costs.
· Maintain accurate product costing.
· Analyze product and project profitability.
· Partner with Production, Engineering, and Procurement to improve cost visibility and margins.
· Support product pricing and margin analysis.
· Coordinate federal, state, and local tax compliance.
· Manage sales tax and payroll tax requirements.
· Work with external tax professionals on corporate tax filings.
· Ensure appropriate financial documentation and record retention.
· Develop approval processes and financial procedures.
· Safeguard company assets and improve financial accountability.
· Prepare for and support annual financial statement audits.
· Ensure financial records and supporting documentation remain audit-ready.
· Continuously strengthen financial controls as ADDiTEC grows.
· Support strategic planning, pricing, major purchases, contracts, and investment decisions.
· Prepare financial information for shareholders, investors, lenders, and other stakeholders.
· Support financial due diligence related to investments, financing, partnerships, or other corporate transactions.
· Help establish the financial reporting, controls, documentation, and processes required as ADDiTEC grows toward a larger corporate structure and potential future public-company readiness.
· Support future ERP implementation and integration.
· Improve integration between accounting, purchasing, inventory, payroll, and manufacturing systems.
· Automate reporting and reduce manual financial processes wherever practical.
Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
· CPA preferred.
· Minimum 3+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience.
· Strong hands-on accounting and financial reporting experience.
· Manufacturing cost accounting experience strongly preferred.
· Experience in manufacturing, aerospace, defense, engineering, technology, or R&D environments preferred.
· Government contract or grant accounting experience highly desirable.
· Experience supporting financial and government audits.
· Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
· Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
· Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
· Experience with QuickBooks and/or ERP accounting systems.
· Familiarity with FAR, DFARS, DCAA requirements, indirect rates, and government cost accounting is highly desirable.

- Prepare government invoices, reimbursement requests, budgets, and financial reports.
- Maintain audit-ready documentation.
- Support government audits and financial reviews.
- Support government proposal pricing and financial submissions.
- Payroll, Tax & Compliance
