Now Hiring: Housekeeper

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces throughout the facility.

• Clean and disinfect resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and office spaces according to established protocols and schedules.

• Restock housekeeping supplies and maintain inventory levels to ensure adequate supplies are available at all times.

• Dispose of trash and hazardous materials in accordance with facility policies and procedures.

• Follow safety guidelines and infection control practices to prevent the spread of germs and maintain a hygienic environment.

• Collaborate with other staff members to address any maintenance or housekeeping-related issues that arise.

• Maintain confidentiality and respect the privacy of residents and staff at all times.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in housekeeping or janitorial roles preferred

• Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards individuals from diverse backgrounds, including the homeless population.

• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, and equipment commonly used in healthcare or hospitality settings

• Ability to work independently and efficiently while adhering to established cleaning schedules and standards

• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed
