Dishwasher – Assisted Living

We are currently seeking a Dishwasher to join our assisted living community. This role supports the kitchen and dining team by assisting with food preparation, meal service, and maintaining a clean and safe dining environment for our residents.

Key Duties Include:

• Assist the Cook with food preparation following daily menus

• Help prepare meals and food items for special events and occasions

• Support meal service by plating, serving, and preparing beverages

• Bus tables during and after meals and reset dining areas for the next service

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen and dining areas

• Properly store food in accordance with infection control and safety guidelines

• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, appliances, and work areas per schedule

• Operate dishwashing equipment; clean pots, pans, and utensils

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain dining room floors after meals

• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Kitchen Manager or Cook

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a kitchen, dining, or food service environment preferred

• Knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation practices

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Strong attention to cleanliness and detail

• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

Job Type:
Full-time 11.30am - 730pm
