Job description

As a Project Manager, you will serve as the operational and financial leader of assigned electrical construction projects - from preconstruction kickoff through final closeout. Day-to-day, you will work alongside Superintendents and Foremen to ensure crews have the manpower, materials, and information they need to execute safely and efficiently. You will own the budget, track labor productivity, manage change orders, and keep clients informed at every stage. This role exists because great field execution starts with great project support. You will be the connective tissue between the office and the field - removing obstacles, solving problems proactively, and representing the company with professionalism to clients, GCs, and trade partners. You will report to senior leadership and collaborate daily with field leaders, estimating, procurement, and client teams. Duties & Responsibilities

Project Leadership & Execution

  • Manage assigned projects from kickoff through final closeout
  • Partner with Superintendents and Foremen to support successful field execution
  • Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget
  • Monitor project progress, manpower needs, and production performance
  • Identify and proactively address project risks, delays, and conflicts
  • Support project turnover, punch list completion, final documentation, and warranty

Financial Management & Stewardship

  • Manage project budgets, forecasting, and cost control
  • Coordinate, write, submit, and track RFIs for cost and schedule impacts
  • Track labor productivity, material costs, and project financial performance
  • Prepare and manage monthly project forecasts and reporting
  • Identify, price, and manage change orders
  • Review invoices, subcontractor costs, and purchase orders
  • Promote responsible stewardship of company and client resources

Planning, Coordination & Communication

  • Participate in preconstruction planning, scheduling, and project startup activities
  • Coordinate with clients, general contractors, vendors, and trade partners
  • Lead or participate in project meetings and progress discussions
  • Review drawings, specifications, contracts, and project documentation
  • Ensure timely communication of project updates, risks, and needs to leadership
  • Support field management in solving problems and removing obstacles

Safety & Compliance

  • Support and reinforce company safety culture and expectations on all projects
  • Ensure projects comply with OSHA, NFPA 70E, and project-specific safety requirements
  • Partner with field leadership to address safety concerns and corrective actions
  • Support incident investigations and documentation when required

Client Relationships & Team Collaboration

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and project partners
  • Represent the company with professionalism, integrity, and responsiveness
