Position Overview

As Director of Claims, you will serve as the senior executive responsible for all aspects of claims management across their diverse Property & Casualty insurance portfolio. This strategic leadership position requires a hands-on professional who can balance high-level oversight with detailed operational management. You will direct, mentor, and inspire a team of claims professionals while maintaining strong relationships with insurance carriers, clients, and industry partners. Your expertise will be instrumental in shaping claims strategies, ensuring regulatory compliance, and maintaining the highest standards of claims handling that our clients have come to expect.

Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership & Management
  • Provide executive-level oversight and direction for all claims operations, establishing departmental goals, policies, and procedures that align with organizational objectives
  • Develop and implement comprehensive claims management strategies that optimize efficiency, reduce cycle times, and enhance customer satisfaction
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of claims reps, coordinators, and support staff, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide coaching and professional development opportunities, and manage staffing needs to ensure adequate coverage and expertise
  • Collaborate with senior management to establish annual budgets, monitor departmental expenses, and identify opportunities for cost containment without compromising service quality
