Responsibilities

Cultivate and maintain long-term relationships with our existing commercial client base in the Bridgeport area.

Analyze current market trends to provide customized coverage recommendations that protect our clients' assets.

Collaborate with our underwriting partners to negotiate competitive terms and premiums.

Mentor junior staff members by sharing technical knowledge and effective negotiation strategies.

Actively participate in community business groups to expand the agency's footprint and local influence.

Ensure all policy documentation and client records remain accurate and up-to-date.


Requirements

Valid Property and Casualty insurance license for the state of Connecticut.

Three or more years of experience managing complex commercial insurance portfolios.

Deep understanding of risk assessment and underwriting guidelines.

Strong comfort level with presenting solutions to business owners and executives.

Proficiency in industry-standard agency management systems.

Ability to commute daily to our Bridgeport office.
