Essential Job Responsibilities
Work Environment
- Monitor the facility, grounds, entrances, and exits for safety and security concerns.
- Maintain a visible security presence throughout the facility.
- Monitor surveillance cameras and security systems as assigned.
- Conduct routine security checks and inspections.
- Control access to the facility and ensure only authorized individuals enter restricted areas.
- Respond promptly and appropriately to security incidents, emergencies, disturbances, and safety concerns.
- Follow established emergency and evacuation procedures.
- Document and report incidents, accidents, suspicious activity, and policy violations to appropriate management.
- Maintain accurate security logs and required documentation.
- Assist with maintaining a safe environment for clients, employees, and visitors.
- Monitor individuals entering and leaving the facility as appropriate.
- Protect company property, equipment, and confidential information.
- Contact emergency services or law enforcement when necessary and authorized.
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding clients, employees, and company information.
- Communicate professionally and respectfully with employees, clients, visitors, and management.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Work Environment
The Security Officer may work indoors and outdoors and may be required to work evenings, nights, weekends, holidays, and/or varying shifts depending on the needs of the facility.

Requirements: Required Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous security, law enforcement, military, healthcare, or related experience preferred.
- Ability to remain calm and professional during stressful or emergency situations.
- Strong observation and communication skills.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to accurately document incidents and activities.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to routinely patrol assigned areas.
- Ability to respond quickly to emergencies and safety concerns.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull items as required by the position.
- Ability to perform duties in various environmental conditions.
- Must successfully complete required background screening and employment requirements.
- Must complete all required company and job-specific training.
- Must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and company policies.
