  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Knowledge of JDE, FileHold and ADP software packages desired
  • Proper handling of confidential and sensitive information
  • Must be result-driven
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Business Administration preferred
  • Experience with Domestic and Japanese OEMs preferred
  • Must be highly organized and have strong planning skills
  • Must be self-motivated with personal initiative, not easily dissuaded by difficult customer demands.
  • Ability to manage multiple programs simultaneously and balance priorities
  • Familiarity with PPAP, PFMEA, etc.
  • Experience with a Global Product Database System (i.e. Tactis) is preferred
  • Knowledge of defects in safety-critical parts
  • Experience with customer portals including Ford Motor Company preferred

Major Accountabilities:

  • Prioritize safety and quality standards and expectations
  • Must demonstrate behaviors that support TGFS’ mission, vision, and core values
  • Support Hoshin activities for TGFS annually & actively participate in task force activities
  • Work with all departments and maintain communication among various groups
  • Follow TG policies and procedure adherence
  • Ensure training requirements are met on-time
  • Manage training requirements to ensure timely completion
  • Follow Stop, Call, Wait (SCW)
  • Organize and lead regular meetings with assigned Program Teams to discuss program timing, delays or issues, recovery and countermeasure activity and future plans
  • Perform Gateway meetings with senior leadership for concurrence and approval to proceed with new programs. Understand the milestones of each Gate in the launch process to ensure a successful handoff to production
  • Prepare information for quoting packages in a timely manner
  • Establish and maintains effective relationships with customers for new programs
  • Coordinate and ensure that capital equipment, tooling, product testing and other required items are on time to support program timing
  • Coordinate with Corporate sales personnel as required ensuring a cost-effective launch
  • Act as a liaison (along with Corporate Purchasing) for external suppliers regarding program timing, deliveries, delays, etc.
  • Maintain electronic program folders with all program specific information
  • Any additional duties as assigned by manager
