Pharmacy Technician -Part Time and PRN

We are currently seeking a Pharmacy Technician to work under the supervision of licensed pharmacists to perform all the necessary daily functions of dispensing and delivering medications and supplies to King David Campus residents.

Qualifications

· Must be a current Certified or Registered Pharmacy Technician with the Ohio State Board of Pharmacy

· Long term care or institutional pharmacy experience preferred, but not required

Essential Functions

· Pulling medications from stock supply to fulfill daily medications orders

· Packaging and labeling of medications for delivery to campus residents

· Unit dose packaging of bulk supply medications

· Stocking and restocking of medications and supplies as needed

· Twice daily scheduled medication deliveries to nursing home and assisted living nurse stations

· Stat deliveries as needed for emergency needs

· Obtaining delivery manifest signatures where required

· File documentations as required by pharmacy regulations

· Clean equipment and work areas and return medications to shelves

· Emergency supply stock and pharmacy audits as needed

Current Pharmacy Hours

Monday through Friday 8am-6pm

Closed Holidays and Weekends
