Sprinkler Technician - Service

LHR Fire Protection, part of the Altus Fire & Life Safey family of companies, is looking for a Sprinkler Technician to join our Service team!

Hourly Rate: $30.00 - $60.00 - depending on experience and licenses/certifications.Responsibilities

• Service and maintain fire sprinkler systems to ensure compliance with NFPA standards and local codes.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot deficiencies in fire sprinkler systems.
• Conduct regular system tests and inspections to verify operational reliability and code compliance.
• Professionally interact with customers on-site and provide excellent service.
• Coordinate with office staff regarding scheduling, job status updates, and emergency service requests.
• Accurately complete all required service reports, work orders, and documentation in a timely manner.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and applicable codes during all fieldwork.
• Participate in on call rotation.

Required Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years’ experience of service of fire sprinkler systems.
• Current Fire Sprinkler Journeyman’s license in Massachusetts preferred.
• Experience servicing fire pumps, dry systems, steel & CVPC systems.
• Working knowledge of all components of a fire sprinkler system.
• General understanding of NFPA standards.
• Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.
