Job Summary:
Responsible for operating production equipment, preparing and packaging food products, maintaining cleanliness and food-safety standards, and meeting daily production targets in a manufacturing facility.
Responsible for operating production equipment, preparing and packaging food products, maintaining cleanliness and food-safety standards, and meeting daily production targets in a manufacturing facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate food-processing and packaging equipment safely.
- Prepare, mix, process, or assemble food products according to production procedures.
- Measure and inspect ingredients and finished products.
- Package, label, and palletize products for shipment.
- Follow HACCP, GMP, OSHA, and company food-safety procedures.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary production area.
- Perform quality checks and report defective products or equipment problems.
- Complete production records and other required documentation.
- Follow production schedules and meet productivity requirements.
- Work safely as part of a production team.
- Assist with equipment cleaning and routine maintenance.
- Follow all company policies regarding safety, sanitation, and personal protective equipment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous food manufacturing or production experience is a plus.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Ability to lift and move materials as required.
- Good attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, or overtime when needed.
