Shipping Coordinator - Scamps Toffee & Sweets

A sweet job in a great work environment! The Shipping Coordinator at Scamps makes sure our delicious treats are delivered to customers nationwide, on-time, and perfectly packed!

Primary Responsibilities:

· Coordinate the packing and shipping of many product orders in a given day.

· Package products for safe shipping; research weather at receiving locations and coordinate shipping; make and apply shipping labels

· Stocking, inventory counting, and receiving

· Weigh products, seal products, sticker bags, tie bows, make holiday baskets

· Clean up station before leaving

This role is the primary Shipping Coordinator, and participates in production when not shipping.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

· Excellent organization

· Problem solving

· Dexterity and attention to detail when reading orders, packing, and labelling

· Experience in shipping at volume preferred

· Ability to lift up to 40 pounds

· Role can be fast paced during the holidays – candidate must thrive in those circumstances and must have availability M-F during the daytime November – December.

Software Proficiency Required:

· Proficient use of the internet for data entry and research on UPS, Faire.com, and Shopify.com websites

· Microsoft Office/Office 365 Software (Excel, Word, etc.)

· Shopify Point-of-Sale system and other apps

Hours:

· 18-30 hours per week Monday – Saturday: Schedule to be determined with owner
