OverviewCamp Fire North Shore is seeking an organized, energetic, and dedicated Site Coordinator to lead one ofour dynamic after-school program locations. This position plays an essential leadership role in creating asafe, structured, engaging, and inclusive environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive.As a Site Coordinator, you will oversee daily program operations, supervise staff, build positiverelationships with children and families, and ensure high-quality programming that reflects Camp FireNorth Shore's mission and Thrive{ology} framework.This is a part-time, school-year position with opportunities for summer employment.Compensation & ScheduleThis is a part-time (up to 28 hours per week), Monday through Friday school-year position servingchildren in Kindergarten through 5th grade, with opportunities for summer employment.Hourly Rate: $20.00–$22.00 per hour, based on experience, qualifications, and EEC eligibility.Our Commitment to Inclusion• Camp Fire North Shore is committed to creating a welcoming and inclusive environment whereevery child feels valued, respected, and supported.• Foster an inclusive environment for children of all abilities.• Support individualized accommodations and behavioral strategies.• Collaborate with families, school personnel, and specialists.• Promote belonging, respect, and positive youth development.• Participate in ongoing professional development and inclusion training.Key Responsibilities:Program Leadership• Oversee the daily administration and operation of the assigned after-school program.• Provide a safe, structured, engaging, and inclusive environment for children in gradesKindergarten through 5th grade.• Implement curriculum and enrichment activities aligned with Camp Fire North Shore'sThrive{ology} framework.• Ensure activities are developmentally appropriate and promote positive youthdevelopment.• Maintain a clean, organized, safe, and welcoming program environment.Staff Supervision• Supervise Group Leaders, Assistant Group Leaders, volunteers, and youth leaders.• Develop staff schedules and assign daily responsibilities.• Provide coaching, guidance, and ongoing support to staff.• Approve staff timecards and submit payroll documentation accurately and on time.• Attend monthly Site Coordinator and staff meetings.Compliance & Administration• Ensure compliance with Camp Fire North Shore policies and Massachusetts EEC regulations.• Maintain attendance, enrollment, incident reports, and required documentation.• Complete and submit weekly administrative paperwork on time.• Maintain organized program records.• Manage monthly activity budgets and site supplies.• Spend up to two hours weekly at the Camp Fire North Shore office completing planning andadministrative tasks.• Drive continuous improvement through the Program Quality Assessment process.Family & School Partnerships• Build positive relationships with children, families, school staff, and administrators.• Serve as the primary liaison between Camp Fire North Shore and the host school.• Coordinate family engagement events and special activities.• Communicate regularly with parents regarding program updates and participant needs.Professional Development• Participate in required trainings and workshops.• Maintain CPR and First Aid Certification.• Communicate regularly with the Program Administrator regarding staffing, scheduling, supplies,and site concerns.• Perform additional duties as assigned.Qualifications• Applicants must be at least 20 years of age and meet one of the following EEC qualifications:• High school diploma or GED plus one year of professional experience working with school-agechildren.• Associate degree in any field plus nine months of professional experience working with school-age children.• Bachelor's degree in Child Development, Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education,Child Guidance, Human Services, Nursing, Psychology, Physical Education, Recreation, SocialWork, Sociology, Child Care, or a related field plus six months of professional experienceworking with school-age children.Additional Requirements• CPR & First Aid Certification (or ability to obtain)• Successful completion of CORI, SORI, and all required background checks• Meet Massachusetts EEC employment requirements• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills• Knowledge of child development and age-appropriate programming• Ability to build positive relationships with children, families, school personnel, and colleagues• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team• Demonstrate professionalism, emotional maturity, flexibility, and sound judgmentEqual Opportunity Employer StatementCamp Fire North Shore is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to creating an inclusiveworkplace where every employee feels respected, valued, and supported.
