Responsibilities:
Provide strategic leadership to the Social Services Department, aligning with the organization's mission and goals
Develop, implement, and maintain social services programming, including case management, counseling, and activities
Collaborate with other departments, including Nursing, Rehabilitation, and Healthcare to ensure holistic care
Recruit, train, and supervise a team of social workers and activities staff
Develop and manage budgets, grants, and community partnerships
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
Foster strong relationships with resident families, healthcare providers, and community organizations
Requirements:
A bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field
A minimum of 3 years of experience in social services, preferably in a long-term care setting
Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
Certification in Social Work or a related field (e.g., LICSW, LCSW, etc.) preferred
