Senior Administrative Assistant

Location: Onsite - Houston, TX

Pay Rate: $32/hour (Based on experience)

Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Start time may vary)

Dean's Professional Services is seeking an experienced Senior Administrative Assistant to provide high-level administrative support to executive and senior physician leadership within a major healthcare organization in Houston. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional who thrives in a fast-paced hospital environment and is comfortable supporting multiple leaders across Quality, Safety, and Service initiatives.

This is a long-term assignment offering stability, competitive pay, and the opportunity to work closely with senior leadership while contributing to impactful healthcare operations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct administrative support to multiple leaders, including primary support for a Hospital Executive (Assistant Vice President level or above) and/or a Senior Physician Leader with system-wide responsibility

  • Serve as a key point of contact, maintaining regular communication with executive leadership on time-sensitive and critical matters

  • Manage complex calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate executive priorities

  • Arrange travel, process purchase orders and invoices, and reconcile credit card and departmental accounts

  • Order supplies and support budget-related administrative functions

  • Assist with onboarding activities, including support for a new Chief Quality and Safety Officer

  • Collaborate across departments to ensure timely resolution of administrative and operational needs

  • Prioritize and manage multiple ongoing tasks while maintaining discretion and professionalism

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED (required)

  • Minimum 5 years of administrative or executive assistant experience (required)

  • Previous experience supporting executive or senior leadership, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and time-management skills

  • Ability to work under pressure, manage competing priorities, and exercise sound judgment

  • Professional demeanor with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse teams and leadership levels
