An established plaintiff-side legal services organization is expanding its complex litigation support team. The practice represents individuals in consumer-rights matters and offers a collaborative, deadline-driven environment with meaningful ownership and opportunities for professional growth.

Position Summary

The Paralegal will support consumer class action and complex litigation matters from active discovery through pre-trial preparation. This role requires independent control of state and federal filings, deadlines, discovery workflows, deposition logistics, and communication with clients, experts, and opposing counsel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and coordinate filings in state and federal courts, including electronic filing.
  • Maintain the litigation calendar and track court, discovery, deposition, and pre-trial deadlines.
  • Draft, propound, and organize responses to written discovery.
  • Coordinate depositions, experts, exhibits, and supporting case materials.
  • Draft professional correspondence and communicate with clients, experts, and defense counsel.
  • Support attorneys with motions, pleadings, notices, and other litigation documents.
  • Assist with trial preparation, including trial documents, exhibit organization, and logistics.
  • Prioritize concurrent assignments and complete work accurately with minimal supervision.

Required Qualifications

  • At least three years of class-action litigation paralegal experience.
  • Hands-on knowledge of state and federal court filing procedures, including electronic filing.
  • Experience managing discovery, litigation deadlines, depositions, and pre-trial preparation.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work independently.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and typing speed of at least 40 words per minute.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Litify, Salesforce, or a comparable case-management platform.
  • Spanish-language proficiency.
  • Experience in plaintiff-side consumer class actions or comparable complex litigation.
