- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans for cosmetology and esthetics courses.
- Provide hands-on instruction and demonstrations in techniques and industry standards.
- Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback to foster growth.
- Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Stay updated on industry trends and innovations to enhance curriculum.
- Assist students in preparing for state licensure exams and job placement.
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to promote a positive educational experience.
- Participate in professional development and training opportunities.
- Valid cosmetology instructor license in the state of Alabama.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in cosmetology or esthetics.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for teaching and mentoring students in the beauty industry.
- Knowledge of current beauty trends and techniques.
- Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Flexibility to adapt to various teaching methods and student needs.
- Professional demeanor and commitment to the success of students.
