Psych Tech – Child/Adolescent (Contract)Location: New York 14642
Pay Rate: $917 – $1,042
Schedule: 3x12-hour rotating shifts (Days/Evenings/Nights)
Additional: Weekends, holidays, on-call, and callback as needed
Position Summary & Responsibilities
Provide direct care to child/adolescent psychiatric patients (ages 8–18)
Assist with daily living activities, socialization, and psychiatric rehabilitation
Communicate effectively with patients and report status changes to RN
Participate in rounds and group therapy sessions as needed
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of recent Psych Tech experience
Experience working with children/adolescents (ages 8–18) required
Associate’s Degree in Psychology or Sociology: Required
BLS (AHA): Required
Strong communication, teamwork, and patient care skills
