Cannonball Recruiting is seeking an experienced Miscellaneous Metals Project Manager for a growing fabrication company in Pennsylvania.
This is an excellent opportunity for a project management professional with experience in miscellaneous metals, structural steel, or construction-related projects. The ideal candidate will oversee projects from award through completion, ensuring schedules, budgets, quality standards, and client expectations are met.
Experience- 3+ years of Project Management experience in miscellaneous metals, structural steel, or commercial construction
- Strong understanding of the fabrication and erection process for miscellaneous metals
- Experience coordinating subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and shop drawings
- Experience managing project schedules, budgets, and change orders
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with project management software such as Microsoft Project or Primavera preferred
- Experience with Tekla, Trimble, PowerFab, or FabTrol preferred
- Manage miscellaneous metals projects from start to finish
- Coordinate with detailing, fabrication, field installation, subcontractors, and vendors
- Develop and maintain project schedules and timelines
- Monitor project budgets, costs, and overall progress
- Prepare and manage change orders and project documentation
- Review specifications, drawings, and material requirements
- Maintain project records, reports, and as-built documentation
- Coordinate with contractors, customers, and other trades throughout the project lifecycle
- Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget
- Build and maintain positive relationships with clients and project stakeholders
- High School Diploma or GED
- Project Management experience in miscellaneous metals, structural steel, or commercial construction
- Strong understanding of fabrication and installation processes
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Valid U.S. Driver's License
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
