What You Will Be Doing:
Fraport USA is seeking a highly motivated and analytical Senior Financial Planning Analyst (Sr. FP&A Analyst) to support the financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, reporting, and strategic decision-making processes across our airport operations portfolio. This role serves as a key business partner to operational leaders, providing data-driven insights that improve financial performance, enhance operational efficiency, and support long-term growth initiatives.
The ideal candidate combines strong financial modeling and analytical skills with the ability to communicate complex financial information to both finance and non-finance stakeholders in a fast-paced airport and aviation services environment.
Requirements:Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Forecasting
- Lead the preparation of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-range financial plans.
- Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models to support operational and strategic decision-making.
- Analyze revenue, labor, operating expenses, capital expenditures, and profitability trends.
- Identify risks and opportunities within forecasts and provide actionable recommendations to leadership.
Financial Analysis & Reporting
- Prepare monthly management reporting packages, including variance analysis against budget, forecast, and prior-year results.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics across airport business units.
- Conduct financial and operational analyses to improve efficiency and maximize profitability.
- Support month-end and year-end close processes through financial review and analysis.
Business Partnership
- Collaborate with operational leaders to understand business drivers and provide financial guidance.
- Support contract evaluations, business development initiatives, and operational improvement projects.
- Present financial findings and recommendations to management and executive leadership.
- Serve as a trusted advisor by translating financial data into business insights.
Strategic & Capital Planning
- Support capital planning processes, including project evaluation, business cases, return-on-investment (ROI) analyses, and post-implementation reviews.
- Perform scenario planning and sensitivity analyses related to airport operations, passenger traffic, concessions, and infrastructure investments.
- Assist in evaluating mergers, acquisitions, new business opportunities, and strategic initiatives as needed.
Process Improvement & Systems
- Identify opportunities to improve financial reporting, planning processes, and data integrity.
- Enhance forecasting and reporting tools utilizing ERP systems, business intelligence platforms, and advanced Excel capabilities.
- Support implementation and optimization of FP&A technologies and data analytics solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, Corporate Finance, or related fields.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial modeling, pivot tables, dashboards, and scenario analysis.
- Proven proficiency in financial planning tools and business intelligence applications (Power BI, Agora, Tableau, Adaptive Planning, Anaplan, etc.).
- Strong understanding of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting.
- Experience analyzing large datasets and translating findings into strategic recommendations.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Demonstrated critical thinking, problem-solving, and business partnering capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA, CPA, CMA, or CFA designation preferred.
- Experience in aviation, airport operations, transportation, infrastructure, hospitality, or service-based industries.
- Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP, Workday, or similar platforms.
- Experience supporting multi-site or multi-entity operations.

Your Team and Working Environment
- This position is 100% in office, M-F 8:30-5
- You will work in a small, nimble team at corporate office supporting an exciting airport environment while liaising with global headquarters teams.
- Visa Requirements: Must be legally authorized to work in the US.
Physical Demands
The physical demands consist of moving from one work location to another, sitting or standing at a workstation for extended periods of time and may involve lifting objects weighing up to 15 pounds.
