Brown Motors is hiring a Spray-In Bedliner Technician and Vehicle Detailer for our Petoskey store. This is a hands-on job with two halves. About half your week is applying G3 Coatings spray-in bedliners and protective coatings. The other half is detailing vehicles for delivery and for our used inventory.

If you take pride in work people can see, this is a good seat. Every liner you spray and every vehicle you detail goes out the door with a customer's name on it.

What we offer:

Responsibilities

Prep and mask truck beds, then apply G3 Coatings spray-in bedliner to a clean, consistent finish

Apply other protective coatings and accessories as jobs come through

Maintain and clean spray equipment, guns and lines, and keep the booth area orderly

Full detail work: wash, clay, buff, polish, wax, interior shampoo, glass and trim

Prep new and used vehicles for customer delivery and for photos on our lot

Move vehicles safely around the property

Follow all safety and PPE requirements, including respirator use during spray work


Requirements

Experience with spray-in bedliners or protective coatings is a strong plus, but we will train the right person who has detail or paint prep experience

An eye for finish quality. You notice the run, the light scratch, the missed corner

Steady hands and the patience to prep properly, because prep is most of the job

Valid driver's license and a clean enough record to move customer vehicles

Reliable. This is a production seat and the schedule matters

Able to lift, bend, kneel and work on your feet through the day
