Responsibilities of Activity Director/Transportation Scheduler

• Emotional and social wellbeing of residents.

• Implementing and directing activity programs that meet the physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs of our residents.

• Overseeing all aspects of the Activity Department.

• Participating in resident care conferences.

• Developing new activity programs to keeping up with trends and industry standards.

• Arranging Guest transportation ensuring that Guest appointments are accommodated ensuring guests with mobility challenges arrive to their destinations safely and on time.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

• As a minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent;

• Prior Activity Aide and/or Activity Director experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting;

• One (1) year of experience in a director or managerial role and NCCAP Certification is preferable.
