Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) at Dennett Rehab Center in Oakland, Maryland. As a key member of our nursing leadership team, the ADON will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to our residents. Responsibilities:

As an Assistant Director of Nursing, you will:

• Report directly to the Director of Nursing and cover for the Director when they are absent

• Create a safe, healthy work environment that supports the delivery of high-quality resident care

• Develop a culture that promotes high engagement and growth opportunities for our team members

• Supervise and direct nursing personnel to ensure the best possible resident care

• Serve as a liaison for all nursing staff and nurse management

• Make decisions regarding nursing and unit problems

• Participate in facility surveys and communicate effectively with staff, physicians, and resident families

• Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Nursing

Qualifications/Requirements:

• A graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with current Registered Nurse/RN licensure

• Minimum 1 year full-time or equivalent clinical experience preferred

• Two years of clinical experience in long-term care nursing

• Experience with Infection Control and Prevention preferred

• Excellence in clinical nursing skills required

• Experience in Gerontology preferred
