Position Summary

The Maintenance Staff is responsible for maintaining the facility in a safe, functional, and well-maintained condition. This role supports daily operations by performing repairs, preventative maintenance, and ensuring compliance with safety standards in a skilled nursing environment.

Full Time 8am - 4pm and weekends

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry)

• Complete work orders in a timely and efficient manner

• Conduct preventative maintenance on equipment and building systems

• Maintain grounds, including snow removal and basic landscaping

• Ensure facility safety by identifying and correcting hazards

• Assist with room setups, moves, and equipment installations

• Maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance logs

• Support emergency repairs and on-call maintenance needs

• Follow safety procedures and ensure compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards

• Assist with maintaining compliance for Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) and state regulations

• Must have Electrical, Mechanical and Plumbing experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• 1 years of maintenance experience (healthcare setting preferred)

• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems

• Ability to use hand and power tools safely

• Strong problem-solving and time management skills

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks

• Must be able to pass a background check
