Food Production Team Lead

Pay: $19.00–$22.00 per hour
Schedule: Full-time day shift, approximately 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
Location: Rochester, NY 14623
Work Setting: In person

Lean Life Manufacturing is hiring a hands-on Food Production Team Lead to guide our meal assembly and packaging teams, keep production moving, and ensure daily quality and food safety standards are met.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced production employee, shift lead, trainer, or crew leader who is ready to grow into a larger leadership role. Food manufacturing experience is helpful but not required.

• Lead employees during meal assembly and packaging
• Assign workstations and communicate daily production goals
• Train and coach employees on procedures, quality, and food safety
• Monitor portions, packaging, labeling, and line efficiency
• Adjust staffing and workflow as production needs change
• Track production counts, yields, and daily progress
• Address issues that could cause errors, waste, or delays
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production floor
• Coordinate with the Kitchen, Warehouse, and Quality teams
• Work alongside the production team when needed

• Experience leading, training, or directing employees
• Production, manufacturing, warehouse, restaurant, food service, or similar experience
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Dependable attendance and a team-focused leadership style
• Ability to work on your feet and lift up to 40 pounds
• Occasional weekend availability
