Class B CDL Driver Position

We are seeking a dependable and experienced Class B CDL Driver for a local HVAC supply company in Jacksonville. This position is responsible for safely delivering HVAC equipment, parts, and supplies to customers and job sites throughout the local area.

• Safely operate a Class B commercial vehicle for local deliveries
• Deliver HVAC equipment, parts, and supplies to customers and job sites
• Load and unload materials safely and efficiently
• Verify delivery paperwork, quantities, and customer orders
• Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain required signatures
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Follow DOT regulations and company safety procedures
• Maintain a professional and courteous attitude with customers
• Assist with warehouse duties, loading, staging, or order preparation as needed
• Keep the delivery vehicle clean and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly

• Valid Class B CDL
• Previous commercial driving experience preferred
• Clean and acceptable driving record
• Ability to safely operate delivery equipment and handle freight
• Ability to lift and move HVAC products and supplies as required
• Strong attention to safety and detail
• Dependable attendance and punctuality
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and follow delivery schedules
• Must meet applicable DOT and company requirements

You should be proficient in:

• DOT Medical Card
• Current CDL License
