Job Description:
We are seeking a hands-on Part-Time Assistant Events Coordinator to support the planning and execution of a variety of events. This individual will help oversee day-of-event operations, coordinate with staff and vendors, assist with setup and breakdown, and ensure each event runs smoothly.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced event environment and is looking for flexible, part-time work on an as-needed basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support event preparation, day-of coordination, and post-event breakdown.
- Assist with setting up décor, activity areas, event materials, and other venue elements.
- Monitor event staff and activity stations to ensure guests are receiving a seamless experience.
- Work closely with event leadership to keep schedules and event details on track.
- Step in to assist staff or vendors when additional support is needed.
- Help identify and resolve last-minute issues during events.
- Maintain a polished and professional presence while interacting with guests, vendors, and event staff.
- Assist with cleanup and organization of the venue following events.
Qualifications:
- 1–2 years of experience in events, hospitality, retail, customer service, or a similar environment preferred.
- Previous exposure to weddings, bridal showers, baby showers, corporate functions, private parties, or other special events is a plus.
- Comfortable working a flexible, part-time schedule based on event needs.
- Availability for occasional evening and weekend events.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Comfortable providing direction to event staff and helping keep activities running on schedule.
- Proactive and willing to jump in wherever assistance is needed.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Reliable and able to work effectively in a busy, guest-facing environment.
