Job Summary:
The Greens at Gastonia, a long-term care facility specializing in individualized care and rehabilitation services, is seeking a dependable and caring Resident Transportation Driver to safely transport residents to and from appointments and other approved destinations in the local area. If you are a compassionate and responsible individual with a valid driver's license and a clean driving record, we encourage you to apply for this part-time position.
Position Overview:
As a Resident Transportation Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting residents to and from scheduled appointments, assisting residents when entering and exiting the transportation vehicle, and maintaining a safe, clean, and comfortable vehicle environment. You will also communicate professionally with residents, families, facility staff, and appointment providers, and follow all facility transportation procedures and safety requirements.
Responsibilities:
• Safely transport residents to and from scheduled appointments
• Assist residents when entering and exiting the transportation vehicle
• Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable vehicle environment
• Communicate professionally with residents, families, facility staff, and appointment providers
• Follow all facility transportation procedures and safety requirements
• Complete required transportation documentation
• Perform additional duties within the employee's training and certification level, as assigned
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• CNA certification preferred, but not required
• Dependable, compassionate, and committed to resident safety
• Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening
Schedule:
• Part-time
• Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays
