Smith Personnel is taking applications for Production Associates in Arlington, TX 76011
Pay Rate: $22.00 per hour
This Production Associate role is an entry-level manufacturing position in a food production environment. Employees may rotate between several tasks, including:
- Machine Operator
- Mixer
- Oven Operator
- Pan Setter
- Trayer
- Other production or packaging positions as needed
- Follow all food safety and food quality procedures.
- Load, unload, stack, and unstack pans and materials.
- Load and unload ovens and proof boxes.
- Fill in for other production positions when needed.
- Perform additional duties assigned by supervisors.
- Help maintain compliance with SQF and other food safety audit requirements.
Preferred:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 0 to 1 year of manufacturing experience (food manufacturing is a plus).
Physical Requirements:
- Lift up to 50 lbs.
- Stand and/or stoop for entire shifts.
- Work around food production machinery.
- Measure ingredients and follow written instructions.
Work Environment:
- Fast-paced production setting.
- Hot and noisy environment.
- Frequent schedule changes.
- Rotating shifts may be required.
- Weekends and holidays are often required.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Teamwork and communication.
- Attention to detail.
- Adaptability and reliability.
- Ability to follow safety and quality procedures consistently.
A strong candidate would be someone who:
Is comfortable with physical labor and standing for long periods.
Can lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
Works well on a team.
