Gator Dredging - Dredge Operator - LevermanImmediate Position available for a Dredge Operator. This is a great opportunity for an experienced dredge operator to join our growing team! Excellent benefits, vacation, sick and holiday paid time off. You must have at least 3 to 5 years of experience operating a Hydraulic Dredge. Starting Hourly Pay Range for This Position: $25.00 to $30.00. This is based on previous work experience, skills, and current certifications / professional licenses.Responsibilities for The Dredge Operator: Operating and maintaining the hydraulic dredgeCompletion of Daily Dredge and Maintenance LogMUST be motivated and able to work independentlyBe able to communicate well with the superintendent, boat operators, dredge engineer and deck handsAssist in Mobilizations/Demobilizations as neededDuties will include cleaning equipment, check fluids and grease dailyPosition will include some miscellaneous laborerPosition will require out of town (Florida) travel for extended periodsRequirements for The Dredge Operator:MUST have 5 + years plus in dredge operation experienceMust maintain a valid Driver's license Experienced in Marine ConstructionHeavy equipment experience a plusOSHA Certifications a plusBoating or Equipment Certifications a plusMust be able to work outside for entire shift in all weather conditions (hot, humid, cold, wet) requiredBe honest, hardworking, reliable, punctual and attitude to get the job donePhysical Demands/Work Environment for The Dredge Operator:Physical/Sensory Functions: Regularly will use sit, use hands, talk/hear; Frequently will reach with hands; Occasionally will stand, walk, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, taste/smell.Lift and/or Move Functions: Regularly will lift up to 10 pounds; Frequently will lift up to 25 pounds; Occasionally will lift up to 50 pounds.Employee Benefits.
