Pay Rate: $15 per hour

Sun Harbor is seeking a dependable and compassionate Dietary Aide to join our Food Services team. This role is essential in supporting resident nutrition and ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming dining experience. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, flexible, and committed to providing excellent service in a healthcare setting.

• Report to work at assigned time, in proper uniform, and ready for duty

• Handle food, supplies, and equipment in compliance with sanitation policies and procedures

• Follow all safety regulations when operating dietary equipment

• Deliver food carts, meal trays, and supplies to resident rooms and dining areas

• Serve meals in dining rooms in a courteous and professional manner

• Prepare and distribute snacks as directed

• Assist with daily and scheduled cleaning duties per facility policies

• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and sanitation of food service areas

• Report discrepancies or concerns to the department supervisor

• Provide residents and families with high-quality service in a caring and compassionate environment

• Perform related duties as assigned

• Rotate tasks as needed based on daily operational needs, as directed by the Food Services Director

• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English

• Ability to make independent decisions when appropriate

• Strong attention to sanitation, safety, and detail

• Ability to properly care for supplies, equipment, and work areas

• Willingness to learn and incorporate new methods and best practices in food service

• Prior nursing home or long-term care experience preferred

• Strong communication skills
