Job Summary – Receptionist
The Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for the caregiving agency and plays a vital role in supporting daily administrative operations. This position is responsible for providing professional, courteous, and efficient front-office support to clients, caregivers, staff, and visitors. The Receptionist helps ensure smooth communication, accurate scheduling, and organized administrative meetings while maintaining a welcoming and supportive environment aligned with the agency’s mission of quality care.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Answering and directing incoming phone calls in a professional and timely manner
Taking accurate messages and relaying information to appropriate staff
Scheduling and confirming appointments for clients, caregivers, and administrative staff
Greeting visitors and assisting them upon arrival
Taking detailed meeting notes during administrative meetings and distributing summaries as needed
Maintaining confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive information
Qualifications:
One (1) year of receptionist or administrative experience preferred, but not required
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook and Excel
Proficiency in keyboarding and basic data entry
Experience using Microsoft Teams for communication and meetings
Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills
