Job Title: Dealership Porter / Shop Cleanup Specialist

Overview: We are seeking a reliable and diligent Automotive Porter / Shop Cleanup Specialist to maintain the cleanliness and efficiency of our automotive shop. This role is crucial in supporting our technicians and service team by ensuring a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely move and park customer vehicles within the property.
• Facilitate vehicle pick-up and delivery as required.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in the shop, service bays, parking, and customer areas.
• Perform regular sweeping, mopping, and trash removal throughout the day.
• Promptly clean spills to ensure a safe workspace.
• Properly dispose of used materials and shop waste.
• Assist technicians with basic tasks and errands.
• Organize and maintain tools, equipment, parts, and supplies.
• Keep vehicle parking areas tidy and organized.
• Wash or clean vehicles as necessary.
• Assist in loading and unloading parts, tires, and supplies.
• Inspect vehicles for cleanliness before returning them to customers.
• Adhere to all shop safety procedures and company policies.
• Perform other general shop duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Preferred: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to drive both automatic and manual-transmission vehicles is advantageous.
• Dependable, punctual, and trustworthy.
• Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Comfortable with physical tasks and standing for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and move items up to 50 pounds.
• Prior automotive experience is beneficial but not required.
• Must take pride in maintaining a clean, organized, and professional shop environment.

Work Environment: This is an active, hands-on role within an automotive shop. The position involves working around vehicles, tools, and equipment, with exposure to dirt, grease, and varying temperatures.
