Responsibilities

Manage and nurture a diverse book of existing client accounts, ensuring every policyholder feels heard and protected.

Identify gaps in coverage during annual reviews and propose thoughtful, well-researched solutions for our clients.

Collaborate with our carriers to negotiate the best possible terms and coverage options for our local community.

Serve as a lead resource in the office, providing guidance to team members on complex underwriting scenarios.

Participate in local community events to represent the agency and build genuine, long-term connections with Stevensville residents.

Maintain accurate and detailed records of all client interactions and policy modifications.


Requirements

Current Maryland Property & Casualty insurance license.

Five or more years of experience managing a book of business within an agency setting.

Strong command of agency management systems and digital document workflows.

Ability to visit the Stevensville office daily to collaborate with the team.

Demonstrated ability to explain complex policy details in plain, understandable language.

Previous experience mentoring junior staff or guiding team processes is helpful.
