Responsibilities
Lead the acquisition of new accounts by connecting with local business leaders and families in Frederick.
Conduct thorough risk assessments to design comprehensive coverage strategies for clients.
Advocate for your clients during the renewal process to ensure they remain protected against evolving risks.
Mentor junior staff to help build a culture of expertise and service excellence within the office.
Coordinate with various insurance carriers to negotiate competitive terms and unique coverage solutions.
Participate in local civic and professional organizations to deepen our roots in the Maryland community.
Requirements
Current Property & Casualty and Life & Health insurance licenses in Maryland.
Three or more years of experience managing complex commercial or personal lines accounts.
Strong command of agency management software and digital application platforms.
Polished communication skills for high-level client negotiations.
Track record of growing a book of business through referrals and community engagement.
Understanding of Maryland insurance regulations and regional market trends.
