Job Title: Restaurant Team Member — All Positions
Location: University of Tennessee campus — Knoxville, TN
Pay: $17.00 – $19.00/hour
Job Type: Full-time and part-time
About Us
Athenian Hospitality operates four dining locations on the University of Tennessee campus: Big Orange Grill, TN Arena Cafe, Hillside Cafe, and 1817 Taqueria. We bring authentic Mediterranean food and genuine hospitality to campus dining, and we're growing fast.
We're hiring for all positions, including:
- Kitchen team members / line cooks
- Prep cooks
- Cashiers
- Hosts
- Food runners and dining room support
- Dishwashers / utility
What You'll Do
- Prepare and serve food to our quality and safety standards
- Greet and serve guests with warmth and speed during high-volume rushes
- Keep your station, equipment, and dining areas clean and stocked
- Follow food safety and sanitation procedures
- Support teammates across stations as the shift demands
What We're Looking For
- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn — no experience required, we'll train you
- Reliability and on-time attendance
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen and dining environment
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
- Must be at least 16 years old
