The employee is expected to balance IT tickets, documentation, equipment configuration, vendor communication, billing support, and other computer-based duties with network, cabling, event support, and field installation work.

Requirements:

• Work with the Director of IT to schedule, prioritize, coordinate, and complete IT-related tasks, projects, installations, and service requests. Take ownership of duties and operational needs assigned by the Director of IT and work them through completion to reduce the Director of IT's day-to-day workload.

• Monitor, review, update, and respond to requests submitted through the internal IT ticketing system; gather information and document troubleshooting, work performed, and resolutions.

• Provide technical support to employees for computers, laptops, printers, email, mobile phones, iPads/tablets, software, network connectivity, and other IT-related needs.

• Configure, update, deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot laptops, computers, mobile devices, and other company-owned technology.

• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot network equipment including switches, wireless access points, point-to-point wireless systems, and IP phones.

• Assist with expanding, maintaining, and improving the Company Wi-Fi and wired network infrastructure across locations.

• Run, install, terminate, re-terminate, repair, label, troubleshoot, test, certify, and document network cabling, including copper cabling, and assist with fiber-optic cabling and connections. Must be able to identify and repair damaged cable ends, connectors, and terminations as needed.

• Install conduit, raceways, cable pathways, supports, and related low-voltage infrastructure using appropriate hand tools, power tools, and heavy-duty tools.

• Safely work from ladders, boom lifts, scissor lifts, and other approved elevated work platforms while installing or servicing IT infrastructure.

• Troubleshoot network, communication, copper, and fiber lines and prepare, test, and activate temporary or permanent service connections for vendors and events.

• Communicate with vendors to determine technology, internet, network, phone, and cabling requirements; collect information and work with the Director of IT to develop an appropriate technical plan.

• Assist vendors and event personnel with network connectivity, internet access, telecommunications, cabling, and other available IT services before and during events.

• Document services provided to vendors and assist with preparing accurate information for billing and invoicing for IT, network, cabling, internet, phone, equipment, or labor services.

• Upload, configure, schedule, maintain, and troubleshoot content for the Company television advertising and digital display systems.

• Assist with the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of C&J POS systems and related equipment at Company locations.

• Maintain and troubleshoot existing IT equipment including laptops, desktops, printers, Wi-Fi equipment, network devices, mobile devices, IP phones, and related technology.

• Maintain organization, cleanliness, inventory, labeling, and accessibility of IT rooms, network closets, equipment storage areas, tools, spare equipment, cabling, and supplies.

• Maintain accurate documentation of network drops, fiber connections, wireless equipment, device configurations, equipment installations, test/certification results, and other IT infrastructure.

• Gather technical information for the IT department and upload relevant notes, photographs, diagrams, equipment details, test results, and service information into the appropriate ticketing or documentation systems.

• Assist with evaluating existing systems and programs including Caterease, Microsoft Windows, Collaboration Drive, and other business applications.

• Assist with reviewing current IT systems, infrastructure, processes, and departmental needs and provide recommendations to improve efficiency, reliability, functionality, security, costs, or benefits.

• Assist with technology deployments, upgrades, equipment replacements, relocations, event setups, and other IT projects as assigned.

• Communicate professionally with employees, vendors, contractors, management, and other departments to identify needs, resolve issues, coordinate work, and provide timely updates.

• Provide on-site IT and infrastructure support at Company locations and event spaces as needed.
