Job Summary: The Braider Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining industrial braiding machines to produce high-quality braided products according to production specifications. This role ensures consistent output, adherence to quality standards, and safe, efficient machine operation in a manufacturing environment.
$16/HR OT after 40 hours WITH increase after hire!7P-7A, 3 days per week, 12 hour shifts, schedule to be discussed during interview!

Job Summary: The Braider Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining industrial braiding machines to produce high-quality braided products according to production specifications. This role ensures consistent output, adherence to quality standards, and safe, efficient machine operation in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Set up braiding machines by loading bobbins, threading materials, and configuring machine settings to match work orders and specifications
Operate braiding equipment to produce braided products while monitoring machine performance and material flow
Inspect finished products for quality, including braid consistency, diameter, and structural integrity
Identify and correct issues such as yarn breaks, tension irregularities, or carrier malfunctions
Record production data, output quantities, and quality inspection results
Perform routine machine maintenance, including cleaning, lubrication, and minor component replacement
Troubleshoot operational problems and coordinate with maintenance personnel for complex repairs
Maintain an organized and clean work area in compliance with safety and housekeeping standards
Follow all workplace safety procedures and use required personal protective equipment (PPE) Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet production schedules and performance targets
Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor
Qualifications; High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Prior experience operating industrial textile or braiding machinery is an asset
Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Ability to read and follow production specifications and work instructions
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift materials (25-40lbs) as required
Dependable work ethic and ability to work in a team environment
Pass Drug screen
Work Environment: Manufacturing or industrial production setting
Exposure to moving machinery and production noise
Use of standard safety equipment and procedures required
