Job Description
An established manufacturing and distribution company is seeking a Production Worker to support its Houston production operation. In this role, you will assist with manufacturing, assembly, packaging, quality checks, and preparing finished products for shipment. You will work with basic tools and equipment while helping the team meet production and quality standards. This is an on-site position in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with manufacturing and assembly activities according to instructions, specifications, safety requirements, and quality standards.
- Operate simple electronic machines and use basic tools to complete assigned production tasks.
- Inspect products for proper quantity and quality while meeting established specifications and tolerances.
- Assemble, package, organize, and prepare finished goods and materials for shipment.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area while assisting with basic equipment adjustments, maintenance, and cleaning duties.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent or 6 months of experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment in lieu of education.
- Ability to work 8- to 12-hour shifts while standing.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Reliable and punctual with availability to work additional shifts and/or overtime as needed.
- Basic computer and math skills required to perform job duties.
- Ability to read safety information, including Material Safety Data Sheets and raw material and finished goods container labels, and understand work directives.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and follow established safety standards.
- Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment.
- Preferred: Bilingual in Spanish.
- Preferred: Working knowledge of manufacturing processes, environments, or equipment.

The base pay range for this position is $13.00 per hour, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final compensation will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future growth.
