Packaging Specialist - 1st or 2nd Shifts

Position – Packaging Specialist

Job Location – Woodville, WI

Pay - $19.00 per hour

Work Hours (Shift) – 1st Shift, Monday–Thursday 6:00am – 3:00pm, Friday 6:00am – 12:00pm OR

2nd Shift Monday to Thursday 3:00 pm to 1:00 am.Must be able to train on 1st shift for 2 to 4 weeks

This position offers a mix of sitting and standing throughout the shift and is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, pays close attention to detail, and thrives in a fast-paced production environment.

While performing packaging duties, you will inspect parts and products as they are prepared for shipment or storage, ensuring quality and accuracy at every step.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate packaging machinery, including adjusting heat, dwell, and cycle settings
• Perform visual inspections to ensure parts are sealed properly and meet quality standards
• Read and follow work orders, purchase orders, and packaging instructions
• Ensure accuracy in counts, labeling, and packaging requirements
• Pull Kanban cards at reorder points and enter production quantities into the system
• Package products using appropriate materials for shipment or storage
• Maintain and clean equipment, including performing basic preventative maintenance
• Support efficient production flow and meet output goals
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
• Assist with additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Strong attention to detail and quality focus
• Basic math skills and ability to ensure accurate counts
• Ability to operate packaging equipment and related machinery
• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
• Ability to sit and stand for extended periods throughout the shift
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed
• Reliable transportation and excellent attendance
• Willing to train the right candidate; prior machine or press operation experience is a plus
