At Monarch Springs Wellness & Rehabilitation, we are committed to providing the best care for our patients, and we're seeking a dedicated and compassionate DRIVER WANTED! to join our team in University City, Missouri. As a vital member of our healthcare team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and comfortable transportation of our patients to and from therapy sessions, medical appointments, and other healthcare services.
Responsibilities:
Safely transport patients to and from therapy sessions, medical appointments, and other healthcare services in a timely and efficient manner
Maintain accurate records of patient transportation, including sign-in and sign-out logs
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff to ensure that all transportation needs are met
Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality regarding patient information
Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay up-to-date with industry best practices and regulations
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in healthcare-related field preferred
Ability to lift, push, or pull patient equipment up to 50 pounds
Valid class E driver's license and a clean driving record
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic medical records (EMRs)
