Laboratory Coordinator

POSITION SUMMARY:Under the general supervision of the Director of Laboratory, the Medical Technologist Coordinator assists the Director of Laboratory in providing overall direction of the Laboratory.oversees day-today operations of the Microbiology department.This role ensures testing accuracy, regulatory compliance, and team efficiency.The ideal candidate will manage QC/QA processes, supervise lab personnel, and maintain protocols that meet CLIA, CAP, and FDA standards.Candidate will also work as a Generalist in core lab.POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: Equal Opportunity Employer Minorities/Women/Veterans/DisabledBachelor's Degree and completion of approved training program for Medical Technologist with MT (ASCP) certification or equivalent.Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a Medical Technologist with 1-3 years of Micro experience preferred.Certification per unit specific competency (i.e. BLS, CPI, etc.).
