Bagelist at HBSH

The Hidden Bagel in Spokane, WA is looking for several bagelists 18 and over to join our 20 person strong team. We are located at 1001 W. 25th Ave. Our ideal candidate is attentive, ambitious, and reliable. We have 2 shops 2 miles away from each other and we prefer to rotate staff through both of them so they are familiar with each shop.

Our shifts are from 7am-3pm Tuesday through Sunday. These positions are tipped positions with a base pay of $17.13. Tips average an additional $200/week.

You could be running the register, working the sandwich line, packing cream cheese, prepping veggies for sandwiches, dishes, and lots of cleaning. We need a commitment of 4 days a week with the weekends being mandatory. While we do require weekends, we approve 99% of all time off requests, which is why we need lots of weekend coverage. We are also the busiest on the weekends and we need to have most staff scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Take customer orders
• Prepare and serve bagel sandwiches to customers
• Ensure quality of all bagel sandwiches
• Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation
• Wash Dishes
• Have fun with the best bagel crew

Qualifications

• Great communication and listening skills
• Friendly and positive attitude
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Experience working in a food service environment preferred
• Reliability and dependability are very important for the success of the entire team
