The program will provide individuals with the opportunity to step away from the pressures of everyday life, focus fully on their recovery, and build a strong foundation for lasting change.\nWe are seeking an exceptional Executive Director to lead Camp Baer from pre-opening through launch and long-term operational excellence.\nThis is not a maintenance role. This is a build role.\nThe Executive Director will have the opportunity to shape the culture, build the leadership team, establish operational standards, develop community relationships, and set the systems and standards before opening\nCreate an exceptional client and family experience\nDevelop meaningful partnerships throughout the Morgantown community\nWork closely with experienced behavioral healthcare leaders across Wise Path and Ascension Recovery Services\nLead a program designed to provide a more restorative, retreat-style approach to recovery\nMake a meaningful impact on behavioral health access in West Virginia\n\nYou will have significant local leadership responsibility while also receiving support from centralized ARS teams including Human Resources, Compliance, Finance, Revenue Cycle, IT, Marketing, Admissions, and other shared services.\nWhat You’ll Do\nAs the Executive Director, you will serve as the senior operational and administrative leader of Camp Baer and will be accountable for the overall performance, culture, quality, safety, and growth of the program.\nOperational Leadership & Launch Execution\n\nLead all aspects of pre-opening operational readiness, including staffing, onboarding, training, scheduling, workflows, and policy implementation\nBuild the leadership structure and operational cadence necessary to successfully launch and scale the program\nEstablish clear performance expectations, accountability systems, and key operational metrics\nDevelop efficient processes supporting admissions, clinical services, medical services, recovery support, hospitality, documentation, and facility operations\nEnsure strong communication and coordination across all departments\nIdentify operational barriers early and drive timely, practical solutions\nPartner closely with Wise Path and ARS leadership throughout the opening process\n\nRetreat-Style Client Experience\n\nHelp create an environment that is calm, restorative, welcoming, structured, and highly professional\nEnsure the physical environment and daily operations support the therapeutic mission of Camp Baer\nPromote a client experience grounded in dignity, compassion, personal responsibility, and recovery\nCreate strong alignment between clinical care, recovery programming, hospitality, and day-to-day operations\nMaintain appropriate professional and therapeutic boundaries while creating a highly supportive treatment environment\nRegularly assess the client and family experience and identify opportunities for improvement\n\nRegulatory, Compliance & Accreditation Oversight\n\nEnsure compliance with applicable West Virginia behavioral health and substance use disorder treatment requirements\nLead facility readiness for applicable regulatory and accreditation surveys\nEnsure policies, procedures, documentation standards, and operational expectations are consistently implemented\nSupport compliance with HIPAA, 42 CFR Part 2, client rights, confidentiality requirements, and other applicable federal and state requirements\nPartner with Compliance and clinical leadership on performance improvement, incident review, quality assurance, and corrective action\nMaintain a strong culture of safety, integrity, accountability, and regulatory compliance\n\nClinical & Program Oversight\nPartner with the Clinical Director, Medical Director, nursing leadership, and other clinical leaders to:\n\nSupport high-quality, evidence-based, recovery-oriented treatment\nEnsure appropriate treatment planning and interdisciplinary communication\nMaintain strong clinical documentation standards\nMonitor client engagement, outcomes, length of stay, and discharge planning\nSupport appropriate level-of-care and utilization review processes\nEnsure coordination between clinical, medical, nursing, case management, and recovery support teams\nMaintain clear accountability for client safety and quality of care\n\nFinancial Performance & Census Growth\n\nManage facility financial performance and budget in collaboration with ARS Finance\nMonitor key operational and financial performance indicators including:\n\nCensus and occupancy\nAdmissions and discharges\nStaffing ratios\nLabor utilization\nOvertime\nLength of stay\nPayer mix\nRevenue performance\nFacility expenses\n\nAlign staffing levels with census and operational needs\nMaintain disciplined expense management without compromising quality or safety\nCollaborate with Business Development and Admissions to support sustainable referral and census growth\nUnderstand local market dynamics and help position Camp Baer as a trusted treatment resource in the region\n\nPeople Leadership & Culture\n\nRecruit, develop, and retain a strong
